SHOTOVER MOONLIGHT 10KM TRAIL RUN

The 10km trail run takes alongside Moke Lake before traversing farm road, historic water races and then returning alongside the beautiful Moke Creek.

You could stay at either Ben Lomond Lodge or Moonlight Lodge the night before the race.

Leave your car at the finish line at Moke Lake and we'll take you into our lodges for a fantastic meal and great company.

About Ben Lomond

The Shotover Moonlight events are run by the Foster family from Ben Lomond Station. A working high country station in Queenstown, New Zealand. The race course follows traditional mustering routes and historic water races.

Backcountry hikes on Ben Lomond Station can begin from either downtown Queenstown, Arthurs Point or Moke Lake – offering levels of challenge suited to families with young children right through to fit and experienced trampers. Our overnight accommodation in our rustic and functional Ben Lomond Lodge provides the ideal base from which to further explore the spectacular high country, which feels both remote and wild while still being nestled right beside Queenstown.
